Great Britain’s Mo Farah has been given the all-clear to compete at the Commonwealth Games, which begin in Glasgow, Scotland next week.

Farah, who withdrew from the Diamond League meet in Glasgow last week with abdominal pains that sent him to the hospital, will reportedly run the 5000m and 10,000m, according to The Guardian.

Farah was also included on Great Britain’s 74-person European Championships roster, slated for next month in Zurich, Switzerland.

British Athletics’ performance director, Neil Black, the performance director for British Athletics, told The Guardian Farah was cleared after undergoing a series of tests.

“I expect Mo to be at the Commonwealth Games,” Black said. “That’s the plan and there is no reason to think otherwise. He’s been assessed. He’s got a clean bill of health. And he’s incredibly optimistic. He’s had a little challenge. He’s dealt with it. He’s looking forward.”

Farah ran the London Marathon in April, his first attempt at 26.2 miles, and finished eighth with a time of 2:08:21.
